What I love about teaching: I love when children share their knowledge outside of class time. It's nice tosee them excited about learning.

What I love most aboutBeijing: I love the mixing of different cultures in a modern way,such as Drum n' Bass Music with samples of 1940s Shanghai songs.

Favourite teaching story atMIK: A student who couldn't speak any English when he startedclass with me came up to me six months later and said, "Teacher Nigel, Igo outside, see two spiders!" I wasn't sure if he more excited aboutseeing the spiders or being able to tell me about it.
